AEC provides strong academic platform for all budding engineering graduates with its infrastructure and facilities. Students academic performances are monitored closely and measures are taken to improve their technical capabilities. Mentors are constantly counseling students to keep them upto date in the learning process. AEC has a vision to furnish high level of academic training to all its students through online training using audio visual aids to get the stuff from eminent professors in the world.
All the courses offered by the institution are approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to JNTU, Anantapur.
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
The Electronics and Communication Engineering program was started in the year 2010. It offers B.Tech (ECE) and M.Tech (Embedded Systems). Since its inception the department has been imparting excellent training to the students secure top ranks in University Examinations and high GATE, GRE, TOEFL scores. The department has been striving to make the technical education responsive to the needs of the electronics industry and the community.
The emphasis is laid on the advancement of theory and practice, and the curriculum is taught keeping in mind the major advances and technological innovations in the field of electronics. The department aims at producing engineers who are competent to cope with the emerging technological advances.
Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2010, with intake of 60 students.
The Department is showing technological and innovative paths to all the students. The curriculum provides in-depth knowledge of both hardware and software skills. The Branch is known as the heart of the institution which is radiantly giving the knowledge to not only the CSE students but also to students of other branches.
The department is headed by Mr O. Devanand, who has a sound technical and educational background also good experience in dealing the departmental activities. The department consists of well qualified and experienced faculty members who are joining their hands to brighten the technical knowledge of the students.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
The department of EEE was established in 2010 with the aim of importing high quality technical education in the area of Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an intake of 60. Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a discipline that uses science, technology and problem solving skills to design construct and maintain products. It is a challenging but exciting and rewarding area to study. In the practice of Electrical Engineering, we insist on clarity and intelligibility. We have a specific goal and vision of developing the department into a full fledged learning centre for conceptual knowledge. The department is geared to translate its vision into deeds, by producing quality technocrats with inbuilt character of commitment and hard working, who can interpret and implement the knowledge acquired for the development of society. Majority of the faculty members are registered for PhD in various universities.
The department is headed by Dr. P. Chandra Babu Naidu, M.Tech., PhD, who has a sound technical and educational background also good experience in research publishing no.of papers in international journals and conferences, publishing books, book chapters and dealing the departmental activities.
Civil Engineering (Civil)
Civil Engineering Department of the institute started functioning right from the inception of the institute. It is endowed with well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. Students of the department are highly enthusiastic and actively participate in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities apart from giving their best in academics. A congenial atmosphere prevails in the department and in particular between the teacher and the taught.
All the laboratories of the department are well equipped with advanced and sophisticated instruments, to fully satisfy the training needs of the students and to meet the research and consultancy requirements of the department. Conducting seminars, workshops and conferences on the latest developments and arranging industrial visits and expert lectures for the benefit of the students are regular features in the department.
Mechanical Engineering (Mech)
Andhra Engineering College started Mechanical Engineering in the year 2010 with an annual intake of 60 students. Effective utilization of experienced faculty in the field of Mechanical Engineering has become the added advantage. Well-trained and suitably qualified laboratory staff were inducted for technical assistance during the experimentation. Specialization at the post graduation of faculty members has been regarded as the department policy for better allocation of the subjects and justification for the true class room education. All the faculty possess the minimum qualification of post graduation.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is headed by Mr. M Sreenivasulu Reddy M.Tech., (PhD). Majority of the faculty members are actively involved in research activities in the fields of their specialization. They have published a good number of research papers in International / National Journals and International / National Conferences. Mechanical Engineering drawing upon its strength of highly qualified, well trained faculty, state of art infrastructure, innovative teaching methodology regular student counseling sessions plays the role of a catalyst in sharpening the skills of an average student into a confident, highly employable engineer who keeps abreast of the latest and rapidly changing technological trends in the market.
On successful completion of the program students with guidance from their faculty go on to pursue higher studies or research at various Universities. The Laboratories are spacious and well equipped with experimental set ups over and above the requirements of the curriculum. Qualified and well-trained staff members assist the laboratory work and practical knowledge is given due prominence.
